Today I sent out the quote to the music store, for delivery on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, starting the first of December. It took me about 2hrs to finally write down a sensible price. Do you charge your cost, because you really want this customer? Do you quote a very low market rate? Or an actual market price this store would pay at competitors, given their small volume?
I went for the cheap, but profitable, market rate. Hopefully they like the quote!
